Default Markie Post, Night Court etc, dies at 70

https://www.ctvnews.ca/entertainment...t-70-1.5539027

the celebrity death thread has become the dead pool thread, so will post here

to me the strength of Night Court was the ensemble cast . Charles Robinson (Mac) died earlier this month. Harry Anderson of course, too young a few years ago. they also had two of their sassy bailiffs pass away (of cancer) in the early seasons of the show. feels like a lot of loss for a show that isn't that old

70! Wow.
For some reason the other day the show Hearts Afire popped into my brain.
The cast included John Ritter, Markie Post, Billy Bob Thornton (pre Slingblade) and a bunch of other really great character actors.
One of those 80s/90s sitcoms that lasted for a couple seasons and gets forgotten.
Anything with John Ritter was good.

Sad news. I had a huge crush on her during her Fall Guy and Night Court days. She was also great in Hearts Afire and There’s Something About Mary.

She was great. Had no idea she'd been battling cancer for so long.

God I had the biggest teenager crush on her. She was such a great part of Night Court and her and JL had a natural chemistry. A long battle with cancer sounds miserable.

RIP.

RIP. I hadn't heard that name for a while but in her time she was a popular TV star.

The Fall Guy was must-see teevee because of her and Heather Thomas.
