Was the Senyshyn pick one of the ones we used to get Hamilton?
I wouldn't say he was pretty hyped. He was a bit of a reach when the Bruins drafted him and was seen as a high risk/high reward type.

He was drafted 19th overall in 2015 but his career has been plagued by injuries. He missed the entire 2018-19 season after suffering a torn ACL during a preseason game, he returned last season, appearing in 51 AHL games scoring only 11 goals & adding 14 assists. I realize it's a reach but maybe if an organization shows him that he really matters to them, it can be the beginning of a beautiful partnership, lol.

Issue is, I don't see a spot on the roster for an unproven player this season, playing important minutes in the minors with our other skilled prospects would be the best option but if claiming him means he needs to go on the taxi squad, hopefully the coaches would be willing to give him some after practice one-on-one training to focus on his foot speed. I know, I know but talent runs in the family, he's a big body, still young and has pretty good hands so i feel it's worth a shot.
Isn't that the guy Ovechkin killed in a fight?

No, that is his younger brother who was drafted 2nd overall in 2018 and was nearly a point per game last year in Carolina.

If that means Bennett is getting saddled with the leftover wingers, Lucic and Perry would make that probably the worst 4th line in the league to play against, and I think the play styles of all 3 would actually compliment 1 another. They're all grinders who will battle everywhere on the ice, and all have offensive instincts.
Maybe he could show the boys what it takes to go to the net and score a garbage goal in OT in the playoffs!!

I don't I've seen anything on here in regards what fans think about Kyllington being waived. Won't a team claim him for sure?

Yeah, I want the Flames to but understand they won't cause it doesn't really make sense.

I wouldn't be opposed to the Flames taking a flyer on Merkely or Perry.

Yes, because he'll say a pretty speech about being honored to join the Flames yet his face will look like he's eating a particularly sour lemon. It will be glorious.

Maybe you claim him and he then retires because he doesn't want to play for the Flames. That's a win - one less pest to deal with in the division.
