Bouchard haters should watch that shift after the Flames second goal. Great breakout, sets up a grade a chance, blew past a backchecker, then when the play went back he broke up two high danger passes by being in great position.

He is going to be the Oilers #1 D by the end of the year.

And then he gets walked by Roman so I guess maybe I’m an idiot haha

He also lost the puck and was lucky to get it back on that chance.

The Oilers will destroy him. That team ruins everything.

lol

There is no question that he has poise with the puck. But he has a LOT to learn defensively.

He also had a nice little play where Gawdin just skated past him and won a race to the puck and went in all alone.

Unless he learns how to play defense, he is trending to be a Shattenkirk type of player

Completely delusional. Bouchard let Gawdin in behind him for a grade A chance, and hasn't done anything with the puck through these 2 games so far. He's great at hitting shinpads and missing the net though!

I've been really impressed by McKenna in the 2 shifts since I started watching. He's got some great anticipation and puck skills. The assist on Ruzicka's goal was a pretty slick backhand and he has won a few battles too.

Either that was the in-house blooper reel, or oiler rookies "what I did on summer holidays"

Every Flames fan on the planet hopes you're right.

If he's their #1 guy they'll have a 60 point team, if they're lucky.

Why can the Flames never give us a decent stream for these games?

I think Pelletier is going to be play in the NHL this year or next.

I don't know that it will take him long to get up to speed necessarily.

He doesn't look as polished as Dube for example but I think his raw skill/awareness is better than when I first saw Dube.

He has looked so interesting so far.

I’m really starting to like Rob Hamilton. Great box out on that last shift
