I am going to choose player development over high picks. I hope the young players play well and earn the Flames a win and get some feathers in their cap.

Normally when I'm in a box I'm a bit annoyed because it's almost impossible to pay attention to the game.
Not so worried about that tonight.

Boxes aren't optimal for game watching - the schmoozing gets in the way. But not lining up for the washroom, plus the chicken fingers and beer fridge make it all worthwhile.

At the game with customers and home late.

Wouldn’t thoughts and players be a better idea?

I think once Colorado got the 4th Vladar gave up. I don't blame him as he kept us in the game for a bit, but we got beat down.

Getting Greer and Zary back in the line up makes it look much nicer on paper.

Yes.

Mangiapane is one of those players this season I kind of forget is even on the team most games. Just not standing out in any aspect most games. Lindholm was like that too before he got traded.
I'm not expecting him to hit 40 or 50, but 17 last season and 13 so far this season isn't too helpful on a team that needs offense. I was going to say he can be much better, but maybe this is what he is now?

Mangiapane has disappointed but he does still take on very tough matchups for us. I never notice him but sometimes there is value in that, if it just gets the other teams top players off the ice without giving up a goal.
I think with half retained people will be happy with the return next year.

While not expecting much, there was another user who posted in a different thread.
Since the season is slipping away, play the kids as much as possible, and juggle those lines relentlessly; see if anything clicks.
I'm on board the hype train for Wolf.

I like those d-pairs. Spread the wealth of talent around a little.
