This is why you cannot give up so easily on your starting goaltender. Good on Smith for clawing his way back, 5 straight wins for Smith.

Any time I see the Wild on the schedule my eyes roll so hard they fall into the back of my head. Absolutely hate the way they play, so glad to see the Flames take their lunch money.

I have said it over and over, the NHL has a huge officiating problem.

I respectfully disagree 100000%. Some fantastic stops and even if there wasn't, as we have all learned, it isn't the hard ones that are back breakers but the soft goals...tough to beat perfect.

Good win for Smith. Hopefully he keeps this play up.

Lindholm with a shooting lane is unstoppable.

I don't think so. It wasn't a dirty hit IMO. More unfortunate for Backlund than anything.

knowing this league Dumba won't get any sort of discipline. It wasn't late but it was high and he jumped.

Flames win! Smith is good again and Lindholm is damn good at hockey.

Johnny is a hockey god, wow is he ever electrifying out there.

This is fun, great team win. Lets keep it going guys!

Rittich would have shut the Wild out better.

these ultra passive aggressive posts are kind of lame and are only baiting.

I loved Lomberg's response, and the fact Peters sent him out there.

We've always had a hard time with those responses. At best we'd see our fighter challenge their team's fighter, I'd way rather send a message in the right situation.

Stupid Monahan...just bury that empty netter and Backlund doesn’t get injured. We need Backlund to shutdown McDavid on Sunday. He better not pass up an empty netter again.
