Last year I got my parents front row tickets for a Wild game at the dome for christmas.

Saturday night, Hockey Night in Canada. 2 points out of a playoff spot TIED with Mini in the standings.

It was the worst game I had ever seen Calgary play. Believe we only mustered 16 shots on goal and were shut out. Somehow we had negative high scoring chances. I was so disappointed in the team and honestly still a little upset with them.

Hopefully they play a little better tonight. Go Flames Go.

Thanks Tsawwassen for the GDT! I hope we can see the Flames ride an early lead to 4 lines playing 60 minutes and a 3rd pairing looking like competent professionals. As much as Markstrom has been good when needed to be I think he’s still only giving us average goaltending, so I’d like to see Vladar given a slightly higher ratio of starts or a small run of games to know with confidence the Flames are giving themselves their best chance to win.

Surprised that Pospisil would be scratched

Optional morning skate for Calgary today, but looks like a couple changes. Martin Pospisil and Dennis Gilbert working late, so they’ll be scratched.

Pinder suggested on Barn Burner that Pospisil is a bit knicked up.

Pospisil under water in 4 of his last 5 games, and benched twice in third periods.

Could kind of see it coming.

Wild are on a bit of a new coach bump but before that they were hot garbage for awhile. Definitely a winnable game for the Flames. Vladar will need to be sharp the whole game not just the 2nd or 3rd period. Go Flames!
