Is Jones unemployed now? I can't imagine the Eskimos would ever hire him back on principal as he screwed them over when he left to Regina. For similar reasons I can't see Huff ever hiring him as this is what happens when you burn your bridges.

It looks like he's with the Cleveland Browns. Not sure why you'd post something like that when you're still employed. But history shows he has pretty terrible judgment.

Was never crazy about him coaching my Browns.

I’d be totally shocked if it’s Jones. I think it will be either Noel Thorpe, who is currently on staff, or Jaime Elizondo, who would be an interesting choice.
This on Elizondo: The Maryland graduate recently spent three seasons as the offensive coordinator with the Ottawa Redblacks (2016-18). He helped quarterbacks Henry Burris and Trevor Harris perform well with the offence finishing at or above league average in points scored and yards per game in each season.
I think it will be Thorpe but they’ll have to talk about any changes to the current staff.
I have met and hate Chris Jones. You like him when he’s your coach and wins but you have to bite your lip (I did).

So pretty much what he was doing this season, except in a permanent role.

I thought the buzz was that Milanovich was going to Indy as QB coach.
Jones would have to take a pretty big pay cut and even bigger ego cut to come back now with the coaches salary cap, and he's burned more than a few CFL bridges over the years. Pretty much every team except the Lions and Renegades he's screwed over or vanished on.

It's good to see ex-CFLers catch on in the NFL as coaches. The CFL didn't do itself any favors with the operations cap as the league's bright minds are better off working lesser positions in US college or NFL.

If you're pulling out Renegades, maybe the Las Vegas Posse too?
