No hubeedoo in OT. Probably a good idea. Need speed in OT.

Weird game, but as memorable as could be for a mid-season game against bottom-dwelling Columbus.

The effort it takes for the Flames to score is so noticeable. I wonder if it's just as tiring for the guys playing the game as it looks to those of us watching it.

Important two points at least. I think the Flames are going to have to pull LA back underwater if they're going to make the playoffs.

What a satisfying win. I liked what I saw from Pelletier - good speed, buzzing around the net. Think he'll be on the big club permanently very soon. Definitely seeing more from him than I saw from Phillips during his call up. Like Duehr's game too.

Fun game! I had fun and enjoyed without overthinking it.

Now to see how off the rails this place gets. Will Sutter show disrespect and ask what number Johnny was? Will Sutter and the media fist fight? Stay tuned!

Ps be healthy Tanev

I was waiting for that Mangiapane and Dube OT pairing suggested it a while back. They have speed and chemistry creating odd man situations off the PK.

And no longer have to hear the noise about "Johnny's first game back." I wish it would've happened earlier in the season, like Tkachuk. But it's done.

Dube continues to roll. It seems like he's cemented himself in the top 6.

Overall decent game, but they took their foot off the gas in the second and made it a lot closer than it should have been. It would have been nice to not have to go to OT against the worst team in the league, but it's not against a rival and 2 points is 2 points, so who cares!

Also it was a rough start for Mangiapane this year and people were writing him off and calling the contract a bad deal already.

But now he has 10 points in the last 10 games.
