With Edwards , Bateman and Andrews all effectively out the Ravens may have the worst group of skilled players on O in a long time .

And their line can’t even block for FG attempts let alone for Lamar

Bucs have also been pathetic but the showing by the Ravens is just sad .

I had hopes that this prime time game might actually be interesting and exciting but it is another disaster.

You can't flex a Thursday night game, only Sunday nights.

I think it is also only for the last few weeks of the season as well.

They changed it a few years ago, they can flex as early as I believe week 6, but CBS and FOX can still protect games. Used to only be after week 11.

No one would flex out a Ravens TB game. In theory this should have been a good one .

Probably will end crazy like every Ravens game for the past 2 years

I mean this definitely did not look like a good game on paper. It looked like two underachievers who are, what do you know, underachieving tonight. But Brady could be playing the 96th best QB in the league and this game wouldn't get flexed. Tom doesn't get flexed.

Looks like flex scheduling is available starting in week 5 now.

Yeah the Ravens who have trailed for 2 minutes all year , took Buffalo to the last play , and score one of the most points in the league vs Brady … Totally would be flexed

But now this game has the Senator auto reverse on it - so I am expecting a 27-23 OT win for one of the teams with one of the best 4th quarters of the season!

I mean if this was Ravens-Texans and it could be flexed, it would have been flexed. Bucs-Texans? No shot. Like it or not (and most don't) Tom is still a top 3 draw for ratings.

Lamar is also a big draw . And Ravens vs Brady is right up there for rivalries / great games

This isn't the past. The Bucs offense has been horrific all season and tonight is no different. This looked like a mid-game on paper and that's pretty much what it's been. Ravens are clearly the better team, Bucs continue to be lucky they are in such a terrible division, although they look so anemic that it might not even matter.

The only thing that might stop all 4 of the NFC South teams from being tied at 3-5 is the Saints likely not being able to beat the Raiders.

Girly said it a few weeks ago, but QBs should just always underthrow wideouts on deep balls, pretty much guaranteed PI. Just such a stupid rule, and part of why it should be a 15 yard penalty and not a spot foul.
