The hot takes are fun and all but with preseason now being a glorified practice session for backups the first month of the season is almost meaningless. Try to get some W’s but it’s a silly to attempt to prognosticate year end outcomes from the first couple games.

Except Dallas. They’re ass and in trouble. Haha stupid Cowboys.

As much as I want to see him playing and contributing to the defense because he is such a critical piece I hope that he is not rushed back and is allowed to fully heal. I'm not optimistic about this season as I view it as part of a rebuild so my preference is to get him to 100% for next season.

Seems like Rogers needs to do something to make him the most hated arsehole in Football to motivate himself every so often. So the week one ass kicking did work last year, maybe it helps again here?

I expect that teams like Green Bay, LA Rams, and SF do bounce back this coming week...even the Bengals to an extent too. Of all the playoff teams from last year who lost, I think the Cowboys, and Cardinals are in the most trouble with New England close behind. The only thing that redeems the Titans is the fact that their Division is pretty soft, and the Colts tied the Texans with Taylor and Pittman both having good games.

Week 2 does have some intriguing games.

I forgot that Buck and Aikman are taking over MNF. Good thing the Mannings are back for another season.

Denver’s defence could use a bit of fine tuning. Maybe stop getting penalties constantly on both sides of the ball too but that’s just me I’m no high paid football coach.

Yeah Broncos defense kinda stinks so far. Or maybe Geno is starting his MVP season. Week 1 fun!

Heard so much about how terrible Seattle would be this year, but Penny, Metcalf, Lockett and that group of TEs actually seem pretty dangerous. Geno Smith is using all of his weapons and looking great so far

The Broncos D might be making it easy though to be fair, pretty terrible effort

Highest paid secondary in the NFL and Geno Smith is taking them to task

Fun game so far considering this looked like a stinker on paper.

Geno Smith is killing it so far. He's this decades Rich Gannon rags to riches MVP.

Russell Wilson will not be constrained by your puny 40 second playclock. He wants 41

I liked the part where Eli made Peyton look stupid at the end of the 1st half
