Default March 14 with ten games!

The Thursday OOT is a busy one with two important intra-divisional games and thankfully just one dud game.

Sam Montembeault is the Panthers third string goalie. GioforPM is correct, he did play very well in his past two games.

From the NBCSN pregame link
"Over the weekend the Panthers routed the Minnesota Wild and Detroit Red Wings in 6-2 and 6-1 games, respectively, and 22-year-old rookie goaltender Sam Montembeault won both contests while top-liners Jonathan Huberdeau and Aleksander Barkov kept racking up points."

The Penguins and Sabres play for the third time this season and the Sabres won the previous two games in overtime.

San Jose has an opportunity to capitalize on a rookie goalie. Hopefully the panthers goalie has an excellent showing tonight

Caps 2-0 up on the flyers. Flyers only 5 points behind a playoff spot with a game in hand. They are running out of time though.

To hell with San Jose. I hope that rookie is up to the task tonight.

Like the Rook for St. Loo, the advantage goes to the goalie, until the league identifies weaknesses, and builds a scouting "book."

Detroit is taking it to Tampa Bay right now. Up 3-0 and just about to go on the PP.

The Habs-Islanders game is tied 1-1 after forty minutes. Good goaltending for both teams and both goals scored in the second period.

The Senators lead 1-0 midway through the second period.

Beautiful pass by Barzal to set up Anders Lee for the game winning goal against Montreal.

Kucherov is a straight up beast. Guy gets another 4 points tonight. Make that gap from Mcjesus bigger!

The Senators played the spoiler role very well, they defeated the Blues 2-0.

The Wild will be happy with that result along with other teams. The Wild are losing 3-1 late in the third period to the Stars.

Since the Sharks have a chance of clinching a spot tonight then does Calgary have a chance to clinch if we beat the Rangers?

I dont think so. 96 points is the magic clinching number at this point. If they win against both Rangers and Winnipeg, then yes.
