I'm glad it got called back because I'm cheering for the Czechs, but thats ridiculous.

was slightly deflected by his teammate first which put him off balance
but yeah, that's some tired defending there, it started on the wing letting the Portuguese player by.

First round of games completed with most of the big guns winning, but not so convincingly.
Only Germany and Spain look like World beaters, the others like England, Italy, France, and Portugal just limping through their wins...
Should make some very interesting 2nd and 3rd group games...

Can’t say Portugal were all that impressive but a win is a win. After the first round of games it seems that the usual France, Spain, and Germany are a head above the rest. Hard to not put France with the other 2 even with a bad first game, they go deep in almost every major tournament since 2016. Looking forward to Italy-Spain on Thursday
