Turkish fans have invaded the pitch ahead of the Lyon-Besiktas game. How stupid can you be?

That looks like a lineup that Mourinho would try.

Apparently it's Lyon fans on the pitch because Besiktas fans in the sections above them are throwing flares and other items.

poor from United. Total cruise control all game and good chances, yet they concede with Anderlechts first real chance of the game. Unnecessary and stupid.

Well that is definitely it. Really too bad, but I am very pleased with how hard Bayern battled today.

Shame that this is it for Lahm in the Champions League

I do find it interesting how both Vidal and Pogba have been okay with their new teams, but at the same time have not really lived up to the billing they had when they left Juventus.

Think that backline of Chiellini, Barzagli, and Bonucci helped to cover up a lot of those players warts (Conte as a coach helped too I think).

Wow, okay I didnt see the game but I've ready three write-ups that left no doubt that two of Ronaldo's goals were offside and that Vidal's red was a mistake?

What the hell happened? Theres no way I'm going to get to watch this game so is there any clips?

true, but in addition

- Bayern was gifted a penalty
- their goal was offside too
- Vidal should have already been sent off 25 minutes earlier
- Robben wasn't sent off for screaming "#### you!" at the linesman multiple times

It's unbelievable how often the refs dcrewed up yesterday. Video help can't come soon enough.

Bayern showed that they're sore losers yesterday. I was pissed at first because I despise Real even more, bur after that gong show, I'm very happy Bayern crashed out.

Yeah, not at all a great day for the refs. Sucks that between the Flames and Bayern it was a rough 24 hours for referee decisions against my clubs! I'm not blaming the refs for this one, you still have to play the game. The one I found tough to swallow was Casemiro not getting sent off which could have happened a couple times. And like devo22 said, Bayern benefited as well.

But offside works differently for Ronaldo.

true, Casemiro should have been off too. It's a disgrace that, given the technology available, so many decisions can go the wrong way in such an important match. UEFA should get their heads out of their asses and introduce video review ASAP.
