So it appears that buying tires from Costco requires that you have them installed at Costco. If I buy the tires now am I able to defer the installation until closer to winter?

That's a good question, I'm not too sure. I have my winter tires on another set of rims, so I was just going to bring those rims in to get them to install it on there, and then I swap out my tires myself later in October.

I could be wrong but I don't think they require you to get them installed there. They just don't install tires naught elsewhere
If they so give you grief just order them shipped to your house, that's how I've bought from them before

It's not a bad idea to get new tires on a little early. New tires can require up to 500 miles in dry conditions to release all the lubricants so the tire can perform it's best.

I believe Kal-Tire is the exclusive dealer for them in Canada.

When I originally priced them out they were only $100 more than the Blizzaks were, which I would have been fine with. However after that Costco deal I got the Blizzaks for $300 less, at that price difference the Hakka's aren't worth it

Does Costco not do wheels in addition to winter tires? I can add tired but it is trying to send me to an external website for wheels.

You go to the external site to find the wheels/size desired then it'll auto add to your Costco cart. Like nearly everything costco online, they just drop shop from that 3rd party reseller to you.

Any recommendations on where to buy steel rims? Is Canadian Tire pretty much the only place to get them?

Try Bob, at Urban Expressions. He's one of the best tire/wheel guys in town.

Debating between Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 and DMV2s for a 2016 Kia Sedona...both are a pretty good deal on blackcircles right now.
Marketing says:
DMV2s are for light trucks/SUVs, but a little louder and less comfy
WS90's for passenger vehicles and minivans (though Bridgestone website recommends DMV2...), comfy ride, but maybe a touch less durable?
I've been leaning to WS90, but I keep wavering...anyone else found themselves stuck in between?
Also, 225/65r17 should be a fine downsize from 235/60r18, yes?
