I saw a horrific commercial and I never say it air again. But it showed a woman in a hospital bed suffering from the horrific effects of a disease (hinted at cancer). And her kids were gathered around her talking about how glad they were that she had good life insurance. Because it would cover the cost of the funeral and treatment. And the woman says, I'm just so glad that it will take care of you kids to. And the kids smile and looked relieved. At first I thought it was a SNL commercial, but it was an actual commercial and it was so grim and goulish, that I can imagine nobody picked up the phone to buy this miracle insurance.

The Tim Hortons Koolaide commercial really annoys me. Youre selling a fruit drink with ice in the summer… no, one, cares. Quit making it sound like you invented fruit drinks.
I hate that place and all their commercials. Ugh.

People watch TV still? Enough to be annoyed by commercials?
There are a few websites I hit on my phone that have so many pop ups they block almost all of the content I'm trying to read. Infuriating. One music news site I visit everyday has an ad that appears and blocks half of the screen then another pop up appears in the middle leaving a sliver of maybe 10% to scroll and read.
And as mentioned above, youtube has stepped up their game and doubled up the ads before and in the middle of videos.
Just as annoying at some lame, sitcom type commercial humour.
I've run into a few ads on YouTube that are 5 or 6 minutes long. Why would YouTube allow this? They really need to change their ad policies to eliminate these ridiculously long commercials.
I'm annoyed by the laundry ad that uses ODB's "Got Your Money"
I was going to bring that one up too. I wonder who's getting the money for the use of it? I hope Dirt McGirt's family is, but unfortunately I doubt it. Reminds me of the Smirnoff ad with "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" in it. Who's getting the ODB's money?!?
