True. Players have been asked to be careful and responsible around their families, so pretty much like other essential workers who have been working since the beginning of the pandemic.

I’m glad he did it, I just wish he’d actually, you know, hit one of them.

I'm not surprised. Those throws were pretty high. It's one thing to plunk guys low, but it's a lot more dangerous to throw at their heads.

It'll get reduced on appeal, but yeah can't be throwing headshots. Ding em right in the nuts and be done with it.

8! Wowza. If the MLB doesn't want the Astro's to be thrown at they probably should've given more than a slap on the wrist for punishment. Will get appealed down to 4 which is like 2 appearances for a reliever.

It's equivalent to about 20 games in a non shortened season. That's not a slap on the wrist

Yep, they've allowed them to retain a fake championship. Here's your result. That was great to watch.

I meant the punishment doled out to the Astros should’ve been more than a slap on the wrist. Now teams will take it upon themselves to prove a point.

It’s one thing if you’re throwing at a guy who pimped a home run. Hit that guy in the ass.

The Astros stole a World Series. Clayton Kershaw generated ZERO swings and misses with his breaking pitches during one of those games.

They got to keep their trophy, their rings, and their money.

They deserve to hurt.

I hope this suspension doesn't shy other teams around from trying to punish the Astros for their cheating championship. MLB admin didn't have the balls to do the right thing, and strip them of their pennant, so the players have to police themselves.

100% agree. Every team that plays the Astros should have a reliever who’s sole purpose to rough em up. And if he gets suspended, the players will chip in to cover fines/suspensions.

The season might not even last 8 more games. Bean ‘em while you can!

Manfred's trying to make an example, but with no basis. Easily turnover upon appeal - frankly should be 0 games for those involved in last nights activities. Every team should get their pound of flesh. The Astros were dispicable jackasses.

Hope it gets overturned embarrassingly for Manfred. Every pitch drilled at an Astro is his fault anyway.

So if Kelly would have hit one of them they would have gave him 30 games?

Basebore is such a joke.
