The new Ride Turbo Dream. I wanted a board that was more directional with a larger kicker since I spend most my time at Revelstoke.
I'm selling my 2010 Machete and 2008 Darkstar.

K2 Turbo Dream? Nice board, I wasn't a fan of the graphics the last couple years but the board itself is great, especially for the type of riding I do.
The Ride Highlife is great too.

LOL ya the K2 Turbo Dream. I was thinking of my Ride Machete that I'm getting rid of.
I actually considered the High Life but I heard it's really stiff which I don't like. I prefer my decks to be a little soft.

It's quite simply the greatest resort on the planet bar none. I hate to make unqualified statements like that because people have different preferences for snow and terrain but I just can't justify any other conclusion.
Speaking of great resort towns, if anyone happens to be in striking distance in November, the world's greatest ski swap (immediately granted said title because it has a liquor license) is going down. There's also a sled swap, which is just awesome. I need to get in on that.

We now have 46 cms and we need a minimum of 60 cm plus a few other factors before a decision can be made to open. The earliest we have ever opened was Oct 30 back in 1972. Will we open early this season? If it keeps snowing like this then maybe.

Anyone know of place that carries RuRoC helmets in Calgary?
They look like they could be really sweet but I'd need to see how they fit and feel before buying one.

The front mask piece detaches.

You would need as much wind as possible to keep that thing cool!

Thats the best part though. When it's too warm you just unclip the front piece.
It's seems brilliant. As long as it fits properly.

That looks pretty stupid to me, but whatever floats your boat... if you want a full face mask my view is just get a Remedy.
Or if you want to shell out a bit more (and it's probably worth it), go with Troy Lee, support local Alberta business.

I don't want a full face mask like that.
I'll probably rarely use the front clip thing, I just like the option of being able to clip it in if it gets too cold or windy. I can't stand putting a scarf over my nose because if/when it gets wet from either the snow or my mouth, it annoys the hell out of me.
So most of the time it'll look like a normal helmet

I thought you didn't want one that made you look like a ######.
Not sure if that one would be the same, but I find the full front helmets fog up the goggles something fierce. I used mine for one season and haven't used it since.
I like Smith's line of helmets. Been using them for a few years now.
