Pretty sure the manager of the 20th place team is not in anyone's head.

When he's not even involved in the game yet makes it into Klopp's post game rant I'm pretty sure that's evidence alone that he is.
Not very politician like.

good on the interviewer for calling him out on that "congratulations" BS. He has always been a sore loser (most great managers are, obviously).

He's beyond triggered.
Fergie, Mourinho, have asked for schedule congestion to be remediated, for a couple decades now -- and Klopp doesn't hold a candle, to either of them.

I get where hes coming from, and we've discussed it ad nauseum here, of course the bigger clubs want the 5 subs and the smaller clubs dont.
To be a bit more fair, I think we should also understand that the bigger clubs tend to play more fixtures and host more International Players who then play in even more fixtures.
So from the context of the bigger clubs in the PL it makes complete sense why they'd want it.
It also makes complete sense as to why the smaller clubs dont. Klopp obviously got into an argument with Chris Wilder during one of the recent meetings and is painting him as the spearhead against this move. I dont know if thats fair or not, but they clearly have some beef.
Klopp's post-game pressers immediately after disappointing results are always a little testy and I agreed with that one reporter kind of putting Klopp back a little bit.
I understand it. In his presser he even mentions that if he'd had 5 subs he'd have changed things around and probably taken all 3 points....yeah, thats exactly what clubs who dont have these kinds of resources absolutely do not want.

He's like Trump. They had a vote. He lost, now he wants another one.
Here's what I don't get. And correct me if I'm wrong here.
The Saturday 1230 kickoff games is to the best of my understanding an independent separate broadcasting contract from all other broadcasting games which BT paid in the region of 900M pounds for. That's a lot of money which I'm sure they want a return for. As Klopp said in his interview "we signed a contract".
United got shafted over worse a few weeks back returning from Turkey in the early hours of Thursday am to play the Saturday midday game.
That same weekend both City and Liverpool who both played on the Tuesday night played each other on Sunday.
Why didn't the PL swap that game with the United/Everton. BT gets a big game for 1230 then have United play Southampton today at 1230. Or is that something Sky would have to agree to? Because then you can't see them giving up a top 2 clash game. With Covid policing is a non issue.
Does the broadcasting schedule for the Saturday 1230 games come out before the CL fixtures?
He's right to be pissed just as Ole was a few weeks back but why the hell is he pissed with the hand that is keeping them afloat? It's a PL mess.

Yeah well I have zero sympathy for Liverpool. Big deal, you had one week with a couple close games. Spurs have had this to deal with seemingly forever. I'm sure we're not the only ones, but I don't keep track of others.
Why doesn't Klopp rotate the squad more? They're not exactly poverty stricken. And honestly, their injuries aren't that bad. They lost VVD, but TAA is out for an expected couple weeks here. Aside from that, they have most of their main players I think? So now a club of their stature can't handle a couple injuries? Come on.

Klopp is being a baby.
In a sport with no salary cap where you're spending hundreds of millions on players each transfer season and then playing clubs with few, if any international talents and 10% of the resources; complaining that you have to play Wednesday and Saturday is such a first world problem type of baby rant.
I realize that any of the top clubs may make similar complaints, but come on.

They had to play today. They play on Tuesday, so if they played tomorrow they’d complain about that being too close.

I think there are too many games jammed in from that perspective. Frankly, as a fan who for the time being can’t have meetings to conflict with matches it’s great! But for the players it’s obviously asking a lot. I think it’s worse for the PL because the games actually matter there.
But the clubs all know this. That’s why you have to rotate your players. Spurs didn’t have a large enough squad for years and we paid the price with injuries. Mourinho has said he basically wants two full compliments of players so that if one gets injured there’s someone to step in. It’s not entirely possible because some players are impossible to replace, but it’s probably the way to try to set it up.

I'll happily eat some crow here because Cavani is proving me wrong. I was very skeptical of this signing, but he's been really good.
