And of course runs counter to the game since United have mostly been crap.

Guess Man City aren't winning the quad again this year.

I have watched that play 10 times now and still no idea what he did to deserve a straight red.

German refs are awful. Brych and Aytekin are showing that tonight.

Hopefully it gets overturned during the appeal.

Would be a shame for him to miss out on a return to Old Trafford.

Lyon were 18/1 to win tonight, which actually seems absurd. City are good, but not that good, and Lyon might not be Madrid, but they aren't slouches either.

good to see United with two dynamic full-backs for a change. Shaw has arguably been Uniteds best player this season and Dalot had a promising debut. Lots of talent there, so that's exciting. Happy for Martial too, he needed that goal. Disappointing that Mourinho subbed off Rashford, he could have done with 90 minutes too, but what are going to do. Anyway, good result to start this group stage. Don't think it's a given that United can finish 2nd ahead of Valencia, so a 3-0 win on day 1 is more than welcomed.

Lyon beating City is awesome. Not only because City losing is always nice, but also because I really like that Lyon team. NDombele and Aouar are exciting prospects.

City have actually lost three straight home games in UCL, and are the first English team to ever lose four straight overall. They're creating history after all.

You're welcome.

And Manchester United made those Young Boys their bitch! There might be a #metoo issue with them it was that bad.

Oh hey! Arsenal are playing today! Against a team I've never heard of.

Actually that might be worth watching.

Will there be a Red Bull break at halftime? There will be.

Monster Energy Drink should fly a banner over the stadium.

2-0 Salzburg already Couldn't happen to a nicer guy than Ralf Rangnick.
