Man I would be happy Sharky and Pospisil extended 4-5 years with fair value. Sharks 5.5 or 6.0 mil and Pospisil 2.5-3.0 mil.

Favorite moment of the night at the Dome was the Wolf breakaway save followed by Kadri to Coleman 2-1 goal.

Kadri ended up giving Wolf a bit of a salute after the goal.

Coronato goal was sniper quality and a great feed from Hunt was terrific to see as well.

A glimpse into our future...and it does not look too bad.

This team feels way more Retool than Rebuild to me with a 2027 timeline for re-emergence believable if Conroy keeps managing assets well.

We should win the lotto. It's not fair that some teams awarded intentionally doing bad.

Would be nice, obviously.

But they've basically fought their powerplay the whole year yet produced decent results given the roster imo.

I know that the hallmark of a bubble team is inconsistent play, and no argument from me that losing to SJ and Chicago is testament to that. But I would argue their inconsistency has really skewed towards the teams lower in the standings, which makes me think it's a more maturity thing than a lack of ability.

Anyways, I'm here for this team.

It should be either equal odds across the board or perhaps even odds weighted towards teams that finished higher.

Then teams have a reason to compete right to the end of the season.

Note to pat: Washington state doesn't have an income tax either.

It might not fit the narrative, but it's true.

I could get behind more equal weighting for non-playoff teams for sure.

Just have some factor for repeat winners to help discourage / remove the Edmonton 4 1st overall pick issue

In the absence of Bingo's game story tonight, some game stats to consider:

Flames at 5v5:

Corsi For: 55.65%
High Danger Chances for: 72.22%

Lines:
Pospisil - Kadri - Huberdeau
TOI: 15:06
CF: 56.41%
xGF: 64.73%

Mangiapane - Backlund - Coleman
TOI: 13:22
CF: 52.94%
xGF: 58.91%

Hunt - Sharangovich - Coronato
TOI: 10:07
CF: 55.00%
xGF: 52.53

Pelletier - Rooney - Duehr
TOI: 4:03
CF: 25.00%
xGF: 0.00%

4th line had a rough one, none of them saw 10 mins of ice, even with Rooney on the PK.

xGF% leaders:
Okhotiuk 81.99
Pachal 81.67 (shows what I know)
Coronato 73.59
Kadri 73.04
Mangiapane 71.00

xGF% stragglers:
Duehr 0.00
Pelletier 0.00 (I remember him setting up Miromanov for a decent chance though)
Rooney 41.05
Sharangovich 58.92
Andersson 59.25

Man how many times did Huby set Kadri up for a quality #### that didn’t go in. Glad to see those guys developing a bit of chemistry.

With that win, Wolf’s numbers are now better than Vladar’s for 2023-2024 season.
VLadar .882, 3.62
Wolf .892 3.31

Anyone know what's the word on Kuzmenko? Seems to be in and out of the lineup. Is he hurt?

Kuzmenko has an upper body injury.
Day to day since March 12.

Clap for the Wolfman!

And Pospisil is a gamer. Man what a bonus addition he has been.
