You just have to embrace it and tell your kids to mind their own business.

So you're loud and the couple hears you, what? You get into a confrontation?

"You think our matching footwear is odd?"

Yeah. I think its weird and creeps me out and it made my daughter cry.

And thats how the fight started and dad had to throw hands over matching sneakers.

Children need to learn at a young age that uncomfortable confrontations are some of life's most precious little pleasures.

Saw a couple in their 60s doing a mall walk recently and they were both wearing the red and black lumberjacks buttoned up. Looked so odd.

My wife and I both have the same hoodie (same logo on front). I had bought it online, it was too small for me so I passed it to her as she liked it and bought the right size for myself. She's usually up before me so if I have it on and see that she's wearing hers too, I immediately go and change.

If somebody calls their grandparents 'nana and papa' I think it's fair to cut them out of your life. That is the cringiest thing on the planet.

We’re grandma and papa. I have a hoodie with PAPA on the front I'm proud of.

Because it makes you happy that happens to someone else as well?

Meh. The OOT is their thing. Doesnt bother me. If it Grinds your Gears then you're in the wrong thread.
They must work in that field I've always guessed, and it's their job to populate the world with links?

Are they hoping for a few random clicks or old school web search theory of when your site was linked to a lot it helped your search ranking?

It's highly unlikely that anyone wearing matching sneakers could handle themselves in a fight.

I can think of a couple of ways to find out...

Yeah, matching vacation gear doesn’t look stupid at all

Actually, now that I look at them closer that probably makes sense. There seems to be links to “field level media” which I’ve never heard of and upon checking out looks to be an ad-riddled mess.

I mentioned it to my kids that it seemed weird and like maybe one was suffering because rarely would a couple feel comfortable in the same shoe, but they told me I was talking to loud and to be quiet. Anyway, I saw that recently with a couple wearing the same jacket too. Also kind of not something I would find cute or romantic, but who knows. Some things don’t stand out as much, like if you’re both wearing jeans, that would be fine, but jackets or shoes. That stands out in a sea of randomness.
Years ago my sister and her now husband were walking, wearing matching jackets. A car drove by and a teenager yelled “hey losers in the matching jackets!” I have no idea why she told me this, because I still like to say it to them.

We had a Nana & Papa and a Grandpa & Grandma. I have no idea why or how it ended up like that, but it was quite convenient in identifying them.

My 44 year old brother told my 32 year old brother he has the Tik Tok brain of a Zoomer, and Easter dinner devolved from there.

Kind of pisses me off, cause I was just hoping someone could help me carry a few boxes of construction debris from the basement to the garage. But I guess I'll have to wait till Christmas.

This sounds like an event you could have sold tickets to.

My father insisted that us kids call him by his first name. I think perhaps he thought it was funny.

Sounds like the main event was better than the preliminaries.

It doesn't get weird until a couple has matching haircuts.
