From what I've seen he is a client of Pavel Barber (he appeared in a couple of those dangle videos on howtohockey on youtube) that's my only input I have for this right now. Haha

Saw Theo once do a 360 jump with the puck. I forget why.

Such a shame.

Didnt anyone tell this kid that being on YouTube is a one-way ticket to Edmonton?

Hope the kid makes the smart decision and actually comes to North America to further his skills. I think it would be a waste for him to stay in Japan and school lessor competition. It would be awesome to see someone from a non traditional market make it. Heck, if he can do something similar to what Yao Ming did with basketball in China, that'd be great for the NHL.

I agree but it's easy to say. He and his parent may not speak a lick of English and may not have the financial resources to uproot and chase the dream. Would he still dominate against 11 year olds in North America or even Europe?

What age did Kopitar leave Slovenia for Sweden?

He would find the competition much tougher here, but he's got top level skating and stickhandling for his age IMO.

That ice surface in the second last clip is sure weird. The neutral zone looks tiny.

Imagine how good he will be if/when he gets to play with higher calibre players.

Same kid?

Training in Canada. Looks pretty good still compared to the competition.

Why is he playing hockey now? He should be playing soccer or some other sport. Every study ever done says they playing hockey in the spring or summer does not make anyone a better hockey player.....
