The game will start on time on Sportsnet and NBCSN, OT won't be a problem since the eastern game is on NBC and CBC.

Should be able to watch the first period before I have to go to bed. This start time sucks, with a 4:30am wakeup call.

At any rate, Go Flames go!

5:30AM here in Turkey. I've got to catch an 8:30 bus to Pamukalle so will probably end up having to catch the third later.

Not saying the Flames will sweep here or anything, but that first victory felt important, I thought the Flames (both teams actually) were a little tentative, playing a sort of "I don't want to be the guy who makes a mistake" brand of hockey for the first period. There was not a lot of flow, pretty tight checking and lots of stick-work, little whacks at the puck. I thought once Mangiapane scored it was like they could breathe a little and play their game, and the truth is simply that the Flames are a better deeper team, and they will win this series because of that.

I think they'll win tonight, but if they don't, I'm not especially worried.

If I'm an Avs fan I see game one as a huge lost opportunity. In a series where most have you losing in five or six you get shut out and lose despite playing a jittery team that takes three straight penalties and gets jack from their top line.

That's a big miss.

Flames tonight have to calmly put another nail in the coffin.

I think they'll be more disciplined, more calm, and I wouldn't bet behind another zero point Gaudreau game.

Shout out to fans all over the world ... one my favourite things with this site is to see how far it reaches and the different game times.
