I think you're right, the ice conditions are in their head, at least a little bit, but it is a poor excuse since both teams have to put up with the same conditions.

Ya, weird ice exists everywhere, and it constantly changes as the match goes on. At their level they SHOULD be able to adjust.
Just watched the 5th end and then bounced back to a couple of the earlier ends, and on many of the draw shots the sweepers needed to be on it damn near out of the hand, and they still barely got it near where they wanted it. Homan then seems to be misreading the ice based on light shots. Maybe combination of nerves and not communicating ice conditions to each other?

Norway wins 2-1 in OT. They killed off a penalty then scored 4 on 4.

Why she wanted to spend 10s of thousands of her own dollars to give that performance at the Olympics, that I don't understand.

'Cause it's the world's best orgy?

Marianne St-Gelais and Kim Boutin both advance!

So... definitely not the individual Olympic results that Charles Hamelin wanted to go out on

The good:
St-Gelais, Boutin, and Maltais all advance to the quarter-finals in the Women's Short Track 1000M.
The bad:
St-Gelais and Boutin will be in the same heat along with Kim Alang, where only the top 2 will move on to the semis

Haha, yeah that North Korean was horrible. I miss the good old communists who would devote some of their energy to doped up athletes to dominate the Olympics.

That was a crazy relay with an unfortunate result from Canada. Did anyone see why Canada and China were disqualified? I thought the Koreans were going to be penalised for taking out the Canadian.
Oh and the Dutch with a World Record for Bronze. Just a weird race.

So to conclude:
Gold goes to South Korea for whatever reason despite them being the reason we fell
Silver goes to Italy for being way back and taking advantage
Bronze goes to Netherlands who set a world record in the 3000M relay in the B Final
Ok.

And she has just missed the broom inside a lot as well. Nerves must be a big part and the lack of confidence just snowballs.

I'm soooo confused about the Women's Bobsled right now...
Humphries/George didn't have the cleanest run but they were much cleaner than everyone else so far, yet the next 4 to go after them beat their time? Wut

Runner choice + skid is much worse than a bump.
Like how one stops in hockey skates.

Like Eddie the Eagle rules there will likely be Swanee rules added as well.

Because it isn’t a big amount of money to her.

I understand that a skid is worse than a bump but I must've missed the skidding. I saw her skid a tiny bit going into corner 9 but that's all I saw
