Avs are a one-line team; Sharks are over the hill and on the decline.

I'm hoping for the Sharks to win this round since the Avs have no depth and the Sharks brought their game in round 1. Then for the Sharks to lose in round 3, giving them just enough success to think that they should "stay the course" with their aging talent and decline into the Pacific Division basement along with LA.

The Sharks just barely got past Vegas with a weak call, and then got a baby-easy opponent in round 2. Nothing better than feeding their delusions about being a legitimate contender with that roster.

Since 1995 I can't stand the Sharks. Only reason I'm still watching NHL hockey is to cheer against them.

Wonder if the break will be a momentum buster for the Avs. Bluejackets too.

If they manage to continue the play they had vs us, I think they'll destroy San Jose.

Sharks are a fraud team. I fully expect the Avalanche to have their way with Jones and the Sharks D.

Hoping Avs win this, atleast the reffing didn't win the series for them and they beat Calgary honestly.

Hate the Sharks and don't like Thornton, don't care if he ever gets a cup.

Avs in 6. I hope

Since I have to endure more fair weather Avs fans starting to bloom like a bunch of ugly maroon and blue flowers, I reluctantly want the Sharks to prevail.

Lots of injuries and bad reffing wouldn't hurt my feelings either :>)

Some ####### actually came by my desk and wrote "Go Avs" on my dry erase board at my desk....Arghhhhh!!!

Think it will probably be a back and forth series unless Jones can't continue his much improved goaltending from the last 3 games.

I definitely want the Sharks to lose this series, but I also would kind of like the Avs to go straight to hell.

I still have nightmares about Artūrs Irbe.

*sigh*...Just another example of a playoff Flames choke job.

If the Avs win the Cup, then the narrative can change to ‘the Flames lost to the eventual cup winners’

I didn’t hate the Sharks after that series. Trevor Kidd on the other hand...

Ya Flames tucked tail so hard no one will remember it that way. Except maybe Johnny.

Wade Flaherty was the guy who stole the series for the Sharks after the Flames won three straight after dropping the first two.

Burns can’t handle the size, speed, or strength of the Avs top line so far. They’ve made him look silly a few times
