I like the three generations of Sith Troopers. The First were Sith Troopers from the original KOTOR game, they were linked to Revan's Sith Empire, they were basic foot soldiers, and a lot were former Republic Soldiers that had defected from the Republic to follow Revan and Malak.
The middle were the Sith Troopers from the SWTOR MMO. They were the foot Soldiers for the actual Sith Empire that sacked Coruscant and almost toppled the Republic.
None of the above had any Force Sensitivity at all.
the top one from the final upcoming movie and creates a bunch of questions. Has Ren named himself as a Dark Lord of the Sith and created a new Sith Empire. Or are they from another off shoot of the former Empire, a new enemy so to speak?

Feel like if it was going to happen it would be a dream sequence again.
Spoiler!
Something that Palpatine/Kylo put into her head about the "Rise of the Sith", with the literal rise of the death star being a heavy handed way of doing that.
It took Luke, who was then the most powerful Jedi ever and under the tutelage of, Yoda, the best instructor ever, several months to learn how to raise an x-wing several feet out of a swamp. Now Rey is raising the death star into space? If this happens it just shows how little these people get Star Wars. It's not just about getting bigger and better.
Ewan has talked about how much of a star wars fan he was and how much he liked playing Obi-Wan, I would love to see that series, even though they would have to get around the idea that he would never leave Tatooine.
I watched that trailer for Resistance, it got better as the season went on, but it wasn't close to Rebels.

I think there is a realistic story to tell where other parties, outside of Vader/Palp and Maul, are possibly looking for Luke, or Obi-Wan, or the idea that Obi-Wan is protecting.
I believe there is a cool mini series story to tell.

We got an idea of what the Empire was doing to find Jedi in Rebels with the Inquisitors. I mean Vader/Palps thought that the offspring of Anakin Skywalker were dead. Maul figured it out kinda in Rebels, but didn't know that Luke was Vader, but before his death figured that what Obi-Wan was hiding on Tattooine was the chosen one.
I've always liked the stories from Star Wars from the perspective of the Empire were really interesting. Not every officer was a Tarkin, not every Army solider was a storm trooper, not every pilot was a murderer.
the story in the game Tie Fighter was awesome as you flew for the Empire. There was a book series about defecting stormtroopers that was really good.
Most of the people in the Empire were deceived by the lie that Palpatine created, that they were fighting to bring order and peace to the Galaxy, and create a fair society that wouldn't be beset by the corruption of the Republic.
I would love to see a story from that perspective from the view of a Imperial officer or stormtrooper who just wants to serve and thinks they're doing the right thing, and then Alderaan happens and doubts start to creep in.
On the Obi-Wan series, there's plenty that can happen. You can have Bounty Hunters who recognize Obi-Wan, maybe the Inquisitors show up. I just don't know how you couldn't include Vader in the story because the minute that there's a hint that Obi-Wan is alive, Vader is going to show up.
You can even have Obi-Wan trying to take down Jabba's empire on Tattooine, there are all sorts of interesting characters that can be involved in that.

I heard it's speculated he'll be going up against Maul and the Crimson Dawn, or perhaps that will just be a part of it, since the fate of that conflict is already known from the animated series.
Would love to see some of his previous encounters at Mos Eisley that led to that famous line. Highly doubt it takes place entirely on Tatooine. Its pretty easy to write him out of Luke watch for some excursions by having some threat luring him to another location.
A show surrounding Obi Wan on Tattooine would be interesting. I'm almost a decade behind on Star wars fiction, but I've read a lot, and I can't recall ever reading about his time after babysitting duties began up until A New Hope

There is a book and its aptly named Kenobi. I quite enjoyed it actually.
