After reading through this, I'm almost tempted to go make a playlist of this for the long drives.

Too much classic rock represented so far. Here are some alternate options.
Amy Winehouse: Back to Black
Back to Black; Love is a Losing Game; Tears Dry on Their Own
Arcade Fire: The Suburbs
the Suburbs; Ready to Start; Modern Man
Bon Iver: Bon Iver
Take your pick of any 3 songs in a row on that album.
Broken Social Scene: You Forgot It In People
KC Accidental; Stars and Sons; Almost Crimes
Green Day: American Idiot
Jesus of Suburbia etc.; Holiday; Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Interpol: Turn on the Bright Lights
Obstacle 1; NYC; PDA
Neko Case: Fox Confessor Brings the Flood
Margaret vs. Pauline; Star Witness; Hold on, Hold on
Radiohead: Ok Computer
Again...doesn't matter. Pick any 3 songs in a row.
Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life
Sir Duke; I Wish; Pastime Paradise (ok I cheated a little on this one)
Tom Waits: Blue Valentine
Red Shoes by the Drugstore; Christmas Card From a Hooker in Minneapolis; Romeo is Bleeding
TV on the Radio: Dear Science
Love Dog; Shout Me Out; DLZ
The War on Drugs: A Deeper Understanding
Up All Night; Pain; Holding On

I have to add another Led Zeppelin. From II: Heartbreaker, Living Loving Maid, & Ramble On.
A couple more of my favourites are Bad Religion from Suffer: Best For You, Suffer, & Delirium of Disorder and Counting Crows from August and Everything After: Round Here, Omaha, & Mr. Jones.
Also, I just happened to be listening to AFI's Sing The Sorrow when reading the thread and they pull off a pretty good 4 in a row with Bleed Black, Silver and Cold, Dancing Through Sunday, & Girl's Not Grey.
Edit: Forgot about Arcade Fire's Suburbs: The Suburbs, Ready to Start, & Modern Man are great too.

I thought about doing SITKOL but sadly the songs bookending Sir Duke & I Wish aren’t classics, but the album deserves mention here so I can accept cheating on this one.
