Although not really on him, Markstrom again not part of the solution in that loss.

He's under .900 over his last dozen games. He's not giving the team a chance to win.

Two weak calls in the second leading to goals.
Blatant interference leading to the game winning goal.
No icing called leading to the end of game and empty net goal.
Worst officiated game I've seen in a really long time.

You know what, it was a pretty good game. I missed the battle of Alberta. I do think Vladar should start the next game against the Oilers. Both Monahan and Zadorov had a very good game. The first line was rolling, and so was the 2nd line. We had 3 lines generating chances, and making plays.
We lost the special teams battle. The officials did seem to be on a mission to allow the Oilers a comeback. I don't mind them calling penalties on the Flames, but they should really stay consistent throughout a game.

Thing is I think only 1 of the 2 do, I don't think either team makes any noise. Flames have to start winning these games against that crap team

Team cannot win unless all parts are working. That’s what defines a bubble team. We are what we are. And will be for a long time.

Losing to an undermanned Coiler team that is in a complete tailspin is a terrible feeling.

Outshoot them 17-6 a weak no call on their go ahead goal. Kostkinen played well but this team is missing scoring outside the top line.
With that said the goals against have been worse lately

Losing to the Oilers sucks. Koskinen stood on his head for most of the night. It’s wild that he’s the Oilers usual scapegoat for them losing so much

Flames outplayed them but still choked away a 2-goal lead and then a terrible play by Tanev on the GWG. We lost the goaltending and special teams battle - not a winning formula.
The worst part is this was a real chance to put the oilers season on the ropes. Instead we will just hear how great the Oilers are.

All that's going to do is buy Tippet time. Edmonton was bad in that game. If it was any other team you feel good about that game. Hell I still feel kind of good about that game. Playing a desperate team, at home (again), on HNIC and they put almost 50 shots on net.

That was a frustrating one. Markstrom could have stopped a couple but refs were garbage and Koskinen randomly went God mode. Such is hockey.
