Lions have released former Stamps receiver Lemar Durant. Hergy Mayala is currently a free agent, maybe Huff should make a switch of national receivers?

I really like Brescasin, but he has trouble staying healthy. I just don't think there's cap room for Burnham who is a fine receiver.

B.C. Lions’ QB Michael Reilly retires from CFL
https://3downnation.com/2022/01/24/b...ires-from-cfl/
Not unexpected but leaves another QB void in a league that has a bit of a QB issue. I wonder if they look at Harris?

In other QB news, Zach Collaros is now the highest paid QB in the league.

I haven't seen anything concrete, EE. At any rate, if Bo reducing his play aided in signing some guys (especially along the O-line), it's a good thing for Stamps fans.

It does free up some money to go after Harris or potentially Masoli (assuming he's vaccinated and can play). Rourke didn't look out of place but I think you need to sign someone with a bit more experience. With Campbell as HC, I bet they go after Harris.

Elks hired a new president. Interesting hire...Edmontonian of Filipino decent, who runs an MMA promotion in Singapore.
At the very least, you can't say that they didn't go outside of the usual circles for a leader. Hopefully he can bring some new promotional and marketing ideas into the team and the league.

Victor Cui as the new president is a fantastic pick and way off the board. I love it. Guy helps run at $1B MMA empire and has years of experience in the sports media industry.
Plus, Cui is very humble and appreciate of his position in life and even though he's based in Singapore, he has strong roots in Edmonton, knows a lot of the local community, and wants to see local sports succeed in town.
I'm definitely not an Elks fan but that is a really, really smart step both for the Elks and his potential influence on the CFL.

I’ve listened to three interviews with Cui and I love this guy. With Cui and Jones at the helm now (yeah, even Jones) I think this team is heading in the right direction. It almost couldn’t get any worse than last season.
