7th in the power rankings, 5 points up on a playoff spot, Tough to climb up the rankings, but next stop Dallas  .
color me surprised. Most of my big guns haven't done jack in a while Kucherov and Hall have been terrible. But I'm afraid to shuffle my lines because Stephenson and Duclair and Janrock are just on fire lately.

Another game, another injury
I seemed to be able to avoid the injury bug all season, till this last week or so, seems a guy is going down every game. Tanev is out for 29 days
Thankfully, this has given the 'Canes a chance to pull from the press box of a couple of players that have been in the skating by themselves keeping ready
Lucic played his first game of the season and picked up an assist and was a +2 on the evening. Zach Bogosian, a player we picked up off waivers for next year, gets the call to start his first game of the year versus the Islanders tomorrow
