Wow, awful: Kevin Durant ruptured Achilles in NBA Finals Game 5, and now Klay Thompson Game 6 injury is a torn ACL according to Woj and ESPN.
Holy what a stressful back and forth game, all of the drama, wow, just mentally draining. What a crazy feeling. World Champs!!! I am alive to witness a team I cheer for win a championship. Such a great feeling. Really happy for the city of Toronto, I love that place and they are going to put on a hell of a show for that parade. PLAN THE PARADE!!!
Siakam and Van Vleet were unreal, especially Siakam with that late bucket. Didn't really like the protracted ending where no one really knew what was going on. Draymond pulling the C. Webber time out call with no time outs left. Curry missing that open look was nuts.Curry actually had a pretty forgettable game.
God my heart goes out to Klay Thompson, he was playing the game of his life up until that injury. What a terrible way to go out, but he was a warrior and sunk those free throws with a busted ACL. Crazy unlucky and I really really hope he has a full recovery, luckily his game isn't cutting and finding lanes like Curry so I hope when he recovers he can still be effective with his amazing shooting ability and cash in on free agency.
I dont think KD or Klay going out taints anything for the Raptors, that is not their fault they were injured. The Warriors swept Portland without KD. The raptors were there every step of the way today as well with Klay playing the game of his life. I do think that injury changed the complexion of the game as both teams seemed a little rattled after it.
But wow. Time to party Toronto!!!

If Cousins heads elsewhere the Warriors might struggle to make the playoffs with Klay out until February/March and Durant likely out the whole year, assuming he even stays. Their dynasty could fall apart pretty quickly.

It's actually not all that hard to understand, he was fouled. If he can't make the shots, the Raptors choose the shooter and the injured player can't return.
He knew he blew out his knee..... Taking two free throws flat footed isn't going to hurt it more.
CP is so used to being salty that it carries over to basketball..... It's old.
