India v Afghanistan was a surprisingly good contest! India comes out on top but props to Afghans for a good performance.

A Shami hat trick in the final over seals it for India. Well fought Afghanistan, they showed that they can compete with the best even though they fell just short of the target.
No come on Willow, switch to the OTHER F***ING GAME!!!

Wow. Nerve wracking finish in the NZ WI game, with NZ just barely prevailing by 6 runs. Must all our games be nailbiters?

Just watched the highlights and wow, I think WI vs NZ was definitely the game of the tournament so far.
Last three games have all been really good. Let’s see how SA vs Pak plays out today.

Go Aussies! First team to clinch a semi spot.
England is in big trouble with their last two games as India and NZ. They’ll need to win one of them or hope for rain.

it ain't easy being a Pakistan fan, such an up and down team. Great game! Who will take that no 4 spot? Should be an interesting finish for sure.

My brother has problems with crickets at his acreage. Is this the place to post about that or do I have to start a thread called: Let’s talk about crickets?

Pakistan is going to snag that 4th spot. Remaining games against Afghanistan and Bangladesh while England plays India and NZ

Full credit to Pakistan, they played that game like a must win and put on a hell of a performance, particularly in their bowling. The air batting was patient and composed, did not need to rush to get to that low total. I agree that they have the most favourable schedule of all the teams battling for 4th, and I doubt England win both of their remaining games to stay ahead. I just hope NZ can stay afloat as our last 2 games are Australia and England.
That was a very frustrating game as a NZ fan. We have way too many timid batsmen (Guptill, Munro, Latham) who have been playing like crap all tournament and for quite a while before that, but thanks to the heroics of the rest of the team we've been winning in spite of them. Oh well, still have a good shot to make the semis and hopefully this is a wakeup call for the NZ selectors. Time to get a steadier batsman (Nicholls) in to open, a wicketkeeper who can attack at #5 or 6 (Blundell) and maybe another spinner (Sodhi) who can take wickets in the middle overs. This is the XI I want to see:
Guptill
Nicholls
Williamson
Taylor
Neesham
Blundell (wk)
de Grandhomme
Santner
Sodhi (Henry or Southee if it's not a spin friendly wicket like today)
Ferguson
Boult

What idiot scheduled the Australia New Zealand match as the late game today? Instead of a 7:30pm Sydney / 9:30pm Auckland start we get a 10:30pm / 12:30am start. Bunch of jerks.
Also, bees!

Yep and viewers in Canada wont even get to see most of it because the early game will have priority on our one channel showing cricket. Has been the case for 3 of our (NZs) games so far, but I'm probably the only person in the whole country who is annoyed by it.

Great start for the Kiwis. Australia 40-2 after 10 overs with Finch and Warner gone.
In Australia’s previous game vs England Steve Smith didn’t enter until the 36th over. Today he had to walk on in the 10th.
Edit: now Smith is gone on an epic catch by Guptill. Uh oh.

Man I feel bad for Afghanistan. They had that one in the bag until a very poor over from their captain, and even then almost pulled it off anyway.
