Default Real Property Reports

I'm needing to get my RPR updated prior to selling due to additions i've made.

I've contacted the survey company on my original but wanted to see what others may have paid as well if anyone else has companies they used in the past so I can see how the costs compare.

cheapest option is to go with the company who did it prior as they will just update the current one vs creating a new one.
Gets pricey when you cant find your original and need a rush!

Thanks.

I knew using the original company would be less, just wasn't sure if the initial $550 plus $50 for certification I received was a competative price.

Updates are usually only cheaper if the survey is less than five years old. Otherwise they charge full pop.

I don't usually plug companies, but I would suggest that you call ARC Surveys. We have gone to them exclusively fir three reasons. They are the cheapest for a regular speed service that we know of, their regular speed service is generally as fast as some other companies' rushes, and they're competent and have good customer service. I guess that's four reasons. I don't recall what their rush surcharge is because we hardly ever need it, but I think it's comparable, and then their turnaround is something like three business days in my experience.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe their regular is about 515-520 for most parts of Calgary.

I'm currently selling my home and the people that are buying it wanted a new stamp on my RPR. Any idea how much this costs? I was told to go to the City of Airdrie and they would just add a new stamp on it with a updated date? Nothing in the RPR has changed since it was last stamped.

You should not have to provide a "new stamp". If nothing has changed, the normal practice is just for the seller to swear a declaration saying the existing RPR is current and up-to-date.

If you had to get a new stamp, the fee is $125.00.
