The wife and I watched The Spy on Netflix with Sacha Baron Cohen. It’s based on a true story about an Israeli spy named Eli Cohen who infiltrated Syria.

My wife was VERY skeptical that she would enjoy anything with SBC in it, but she was hooked by the end of the first episode. He gets a lot of sh-t for all the outlandish comedic stuff he’s done, but he has incredible range and talent as an actor.

^I think Sacha Baron Cohen has genius level talent in terms of performance and writing. It's just that his irreverence make people take him less seriously. Don't forget, he played Monsieur Thenardier in the Les Mis movie and played it excellently well. Very on point.

That sequence where he was living in the home of the rednecks in Borat 2 is both some of the bravest and most incredible acting I've seen. He stayed 100% in character except for the brief moments before he went to sleep. He was living with them for 5 days and they were none the wiser. That is incredible, full stop.

I only watched the first few episodes of that series and stopped, but is it worth finishing? I assume yes, but just thought I would ask.

I'm two episodes into season 2 of Solar Opposites and it's awesome, right up there with Rick & Morty now for quality. Dog monsters that eat people and poop out wine bottles named Napadoodles is one of the funniest gags I've seen in a long time

I'd say it's a notch or two below Rick & Morty, but since that's such a high bar the show is pretty good.

It's not as clever as R&M, but if you like that show's irreverent humor you'll be into Solar Opposites.

Decided to start watching apple original Servant. 5 episodes in and it's definitely creepy AF. Really enjoying it, great performances by the leads.

Waffles & Mochi is out-freaking-standing!!

It's on Netflix kids.

Michelle Obama's healthy eating project directed at young children. My 5 year old watched the first episode and was so excited to try tomatoes!!

And that gazpacho by chef Jose Andres looked insane!

I have had three shows in the viewing rotation for a while now.

The Sopranos: Hard to believe I had never watched this but when it was current I just never had the interest in the subject matter. Anyway as expected the show is incredible. The acting and realism is next level, from even subtle things like sound, lighting etc. The carryover of themes and events from episode to episode and season to season is impressive. Like the rest of humanity, I know how the final scene plays out but other than that, I'm pretty naïve on how events unfurl. I can see why this show is on so many people's top lists. It is definitely one of my all time faves, currently watching season 4.

The Expanse: I'm finding this pretty dry. Also in season 4 of this show, which I don't find interesting at all. Earlier seasons were better. The shortened the season length to 10 episodes for this and season 5 and i find myself just wanting to get through it for the sake of it. It's not bad I guess, but I was close to just giving up since I'm just not that interested in what happens. The main characters are all pretty interesting, say that although Naomi seems to have lost her personality when she changed her hair.

For All Mankind: Only three episodes into this one. The premise is fantastic, the acting is pretty good but I do feel it needs to ratchet up the dramatic tension a little. I'm hoping the show finds its stride in terms of pacing as we get further along.

Keep watching. I thought Season 1 really nailed the tense suspenseful moments. I haven't really found Season 2 to match, but there are still a couple more episodes to go.

The Serpent on Netflix. A good show to watch while we can’t travel. Mayday is another good series during this travel hiatus.

Them is a very good, creepy horror series. If you like Jordan Peele and his shows like Get Out and US, you will probably enjoy this. Be warned there are some disturbing scenes and one in particular that was hard to watch.

I like US version, but now that it’s wrapping up tomorrow, wonder if it’s worth it to look at the UK version.
