Default Seattle Kraken regional games moving on to local TV stations!

"Starting this fall, all non-nationally televised Kraken games will be broadcast on KONG with 15 games simulcast on KING 5 in Seattle. Both stations are owned by TEGNA."

"Fans throughout the Pacific Northwest will be served even more expansively. TEGNA has reached arrangements to carry Kraken games not nationally televised (the NHL can
select up to 13 games for broadcast on TNT and ESPN channels) on KGW, the NBC affiliate in Portland and KREM, the CBS affiliate in Spokane."

I wonder if we'll be blacked out here in BC?
I hope not but I'm betting we will be.

The less crap on Root Sports, the better. Definitely a fan of this

Does Calgary still get KREM? I moved away in 1992 so it's been years, but I remember getting the Spokane channels for like ABC/CBS/NBC

According to https://www.shaw.ca/tv/channels/channel-listings, yes, Calgary still gets KREM. (And KXLY, KHQ, KAYU and KSPS.)

I like how they name their TV stations in Seattle - KING & KONG
