Wonderful.

Its been a long time since I could both enjoy Trek and have a few laughs.

Excellent episode of Lower Decks.

Episode of the season for me, though I've thought that about all 3 so far so who knows how crazy it will get. Finally being a Voyager fan pays off, I laughed so hard at the salamander reference and Tom yelling "Kaizon!" and punching Boimler. And then I laughed harder when the doc got in the box. God this show is awesome

Hilarious episode. Love when they listed all the different ways that characters have come back from the dead.

I also like that Tendi listens to Klingon punk bands.

I liked that they basically made fun of the whole Klingon Opera stuff. I like the cheapshot that it was really rare for someone to get beaten up by Tom Paris.

Overall a really good episode.

How did I miss that when Hemi said that. Man I had a chance to put him in the cross hairs of ribbing and I missed it.

I feel shame.

Fan is too strong of a word, but it was the show that got me into Star Trek as a kid so I still have a soft spot for it. I fully recognize that it is a terrible show compared to DS9, which I consider the height of TV Star Trek. But hey at least it's not the worst series in the universe anymore now that Discovery took that crown!

I think even your therapist would tell you to keep that one to yourself.

I’ve also enjoyed them making up dumb reasons to use the three letter abbreviations for the series, first with TOS and now with VOY.

Voyager was great. Not the best of Trek but it had plenty of enjoyable parts and was well within the realm of Star Trek lore. Every series has a lizard episode (looking at you parasite episode of TNG...)

1. DS9
2. TNG
3. Lower Decks
T4. Voyager
T4.TOS
5. Enterprise

Chasm (TAS is somewhere in here but honestly don't know where to rank it.)

6. Picard

Chasm

7. Discovery

Just poking fun.

The main problem with Voyager was that when it was terrible, it was god freaking awful.

TOS deserves to be higher simply for blazing so many trails. It hasn't aged very well, but it's importance beyond just being a TV show should give it it's own ranking. I'd put Voyager tied with Enterprise otherwise, both shows had some really great moments bogged down by some really stupid and forgettable episodes

I also appreciated how they extended the notion from Enterprise that the female Orions are the ones who are actually in charge.

The whole slave girl thing was gross.

Overall VOY was better than ENT. Last ENT season almost redeems it.

I'm still angry that it ended when it did. All Star Trek series are slow starters, imagine if DS9 got cancelled after the 4th season. Ent was finally figuring out what it was trying to be and then poof, no more. I think it would have been remembered much more fondly had it continued for another couple of seasons

Yup. Manny Coto saved it. I just have a feeling Berman got pissed about that and went scorched earth.

Why does everyone crap on Enterprise? I mean, lame theme song aside I think the best of Enterprise was better than the best of Voyager. I think its weakest episodes were still better than the weakest episodes of Voyager.

Lower Decks is the best thing going in Trek right now, though, and its not even close. I'm hoping against hope SNW isn't a total cluster####, because Anson Mount is one hell of an actor and seems like he was born to be a Trek captain.
