I expect the Oilers to lose every game.

The Kings have suddenly turned on their offensive skills, 4-1 now late in the third period.

OVERTIME is looming in the Flyers-Sharks game, 3-3 with a minute left in regulation time.

Ridiculous Marchand got 14 penalty minutes for calling out the preds on their BS. Scissons better get fined for that.

Haha Marchand calling people out on diving. What a joke.

I hope that your use of "ridiculous" is to modify the noun "Marchand".

Wrong on so many levels:

· The Oilers are a garbage team that is often outplayed in games since they depend so heavily on their only two good players. Unlike the Oilers, the Flames are a good team.
·The Oilers continue to pull points out of their asses with wins in games they have little business winning, whereas the Flames should have probably an even better record, and have arguably been held back by some suspect goaltending.
· To put it another way, the Oilers have started the season about as well as anyone reasonably could have expected, while the Flames clearly have room to improve even though they are currently playing like one of the best teams in the NHL.

The Oilers are being propped up by bottom line players scoring above their ability right now. It wont last forever.

Final scores and recaps
http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/news/NHL-R...ate=11-03-2018
https://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/sco...p?day=20181103

The Islanders are playing some decent hockey as they have won 5 in a row. They beat the Devils 3-0, Greiss with the 35 save SHUTOUT.

Roman Josi scores the GWG with 5 minutes left in the 1st period. Yep, that was it for scoring as Pekka Rinne made 26 saves for the SHUTOUT. It was Halak that kept the score that close as he made 39 saves in a losing cause. Both teams were perfect on their PK.

Fleury with the 34 save SHUTOUT, Haula with 2 assists, and the Knights score a goal in each period to beat the Hurricanes 3-0.

The Leafs actually scored some goals and played well defensively and upset the Penguins 5-0 in Pittsburgh. Andersen gets the SHUTOUT making 31 saves.

The Wild crush the Blues in St. Louis on the scoreboard and the shots. It was 3-1 Minnesota after the 1st period and cruised the rest of the way to a 5-1 win and 45-16 in shots. Nick Seeler had 3 points and don't blame goalie Jake Allen for the loss, the Blues were awful.

The Sabres went on a Buffalo Stampede over the Senators, 9-2 Buffalo. Goaltending woes for Ottawa. Anderson gets pulled after 3 goals and then a rookie backup takes over and it made no difference. Eichel, Skinner, and Pomminville each with 3 points.

The Sharks pull out a win in OT, Meier scored the GWG, his 2nd goal of the game. Thornton scored a nice tying goal.

Stamkos, Kucherov, and Stralman were the reasons the Lightning win 4-1 over the Habs at the Bell Centre. Both teams were perfect on the PK.

I really don't care what you think, but to say the Flames, being down by 3 or 4 goals, then coming back last minute and winning is NOT pulling wins out of their asses, is pretty crazy.

Games in which the Flames carried the play the entire way, badly outplayed their opponents, and earned hard-fought victories as a result of relentless forechecking pressure is the very antithesis of "pulling wins out of their asses." It is far more sustainable than winning on the back of single forward who plays most of the game and goalies who play out of their minds.

Edmonton is no good.

Mcdavid averages 2 more minutes per game then Lindholm or Gaudreau. Averages 2 more shifts per game then Johnny.

So 164 more minutes a season. I think that it is a war of attrition. I'm not claiming that McDavid can't handle those minutes some nights or even seasons. But that is going to be hard on his career. I am sure he is good enough to do it, and I understand why he does. But playing that much night in night out for a few years just isn't the best thing for his long term health.

This. Every come from behind win this year was where the Flames deserved a win from the drop of the puck to the final whistle. In each of those games they were the better team over 60 minutes. The only undeserved win at all was against NYR (and even there, I suppose playing a really bad team can mean you deserve the win).

Edmonton hasn't been the better team in many of their wins.
