I hope these guys are still funny, it's been a while.
Loved this show (pretension warning) since the British series. Tony Slatery telling Clive Anderson "oh well eff off" is one of my favourite whose line moments ever.
Ryan Styles and Colin Mochirie are geniuses. The chemistry was unrivalled.
I'm pulling for Brad Sherwood. Shaw him and Colin Mochirie a few years ago do an improve show on their tour. Was the funniest thing I have ever seen. Glory Days!
Ryan and Colin together are magic. I loved when they did the infomercials for themed records, or the skit they typically did in the end credits where Ryan couldn't use his hands and Colin would try and get him to eat or drink stuff or cover him with all kinds of garbage. Seeing Ryan trying to navigate his way out of it was always fun.
I will miss Drew Carey on the show frankly. I thought he was good with everyone, his laugh was contagious and he didn't mind them making fun of him.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the Brit version, loved Clive Anderson's humour. They really are sharp, them Brits!
I don't mind Tyler, I think she can be funny, she did Talk Soup, I think it was, so she is familiar with comedy. I just would have preferred the original people.
Update per Ryan Styles fansite: Whose Live (a touring improv show with Ryan, Greg, Chip, and Jeff) is coming to Calgary September 28th to the Jack Singer. Tickets on sale soon.
I just hope his soul-rendering performance as host of Lets Make a Deal hasn't sucked the funny right out of Wayne Brady. It's painful seeing a skilled comic reduced to that.
