Josh Brolin being directed by Robert Rodriquez
Spoiler!

Spoiler!

Quote:
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is an upcoming crime thriller neo-noir film and sequel to the 2005 film Sin City. Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are set to direct a script co-written by them and William Monahan and primarily based on the second book in the Sin City series by Miller.[4] Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is scheduled to be released on October 4, 2013.[3]

The film stars an ensemble cast including returning castmembers Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Clive Owen, Powers Boothe, Mickey Rourke, and Bruce Willis. Newcomers to the series include Eva Green, Josh Brolin, Jamie Chung, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Julia Garner, Juno Temple, Ray Liotta, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, and Crystal McCahill.
Loved the first one, can't wait for this. Fall of this year.

To be honest, its going to be a little weird to watch, I was a big fan of actress Britney Murphy who was in my mind a very good actress, she did a great job in the first one.

BTW its amazing how good woman look in black and white

Must be a prequel or mess with the time line a bit if Bruce Willis is in it. Wouldn't think he would survive shooting himself in the face.

Also very excited for this. The first one was great.

She was very good in the first but it won't be weird. Michael Clarke Duncan has also passed away and his role as been recast, that is the one that might be weird but still I doubt that too.

Watched Sin City just a couple days ago. Simply unreal and I can't wait for the sequel.

It's shameful that this took so damn long to come out. Why did Rodriguez waste so much time on junk like Spy Kids and Shark Boy and Lava Girl rather than working on a sequel for this? It's honestly hard to believe it will be 8 years since the last movie hit theaters. In that span Mickey Rourke's career revived only for it to pretty much fall apart for him all over again.. lol

We may want to remove "finally" from the tread title. It's now been pushed back to summer 2014.

The series was written as a bunch of small stories within the same universe. The sequel will feature stories from before and after the ones in the first movie.

The first movie was based on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th books in the series. The sequel will be largely based on the second book.

Theoretically, this is a sequel that cannot be screwed up. All they need to do is use the source material and same types of effects.

Yeah, I cringed when I saw that, maybe she'll be dropped down an elevator shaft by Marv 2 minutes into it.

Bah, who cares. Maybe the scene is her in the corner of a smokey bar alone on a piano belting out a tune while the story develops around her.

Not a fan of her popular songs, but she is a very talented singer. She has a really classic vibe with a gritty edge when she wants to with a that would fit in perfect with the tone of these movies.
