Well the ASHPD allows you to move other things as well. Open one end in New York, the other in London, and charge people to walk through it.

I can't put a portal on the side of a building and then under you with the power of teleportation!

Though I guess if I could teleport others touching me, it'd be about the same.

Didn't duke nukem 3D have a shrink ray? Then you could just step on the baddies?

That was pretty cool.

The shotguns in Doom and Doom 2 sounded awesome and killing so many things was just the best. Either the single or double barrel is probably my favourite, and most used, gaming weapon. RL in quake1 was pretty good also, being able to bounce people and stuff.

For me it is an easy choice. The M60 machine gun. I just love how over the top it is, and in many games it is really not even appropriate for the situations. I used it constantly in Hitman 2, for example, and I frequently annoy my friends by selecting it in Raven Shield. I used it in Fallout 2, I use it in BF2-type games, I use it wherever I can find it.

I'll just throw this in as well, which I came across today:

How about the super power that orange portal shoots from your right hand and blue portal from your left?

For me the gold or silver PP7 from Goldeneye, that game was so awesome as a kid.

or...

There are two

The nail gun in fear. There's nothing like nailing an enemy to the wall or floor

The light saber in the jedi knight series, especially with the dismemberment code.

I believe you can still at least join by IP, although it does check an ubi.com password. Last time I played (2 weeks ago) we were on a local network so I'm not 100% sure.

AWP in CS, or the AK-47 in that game also. Both are fun in different ways.

Probably the Farsight from Perfect Dark.

The laptop sentries and fly-by-wire rockets were pretty great too.

X-COM, Heavy Plasma gun: http://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php?title=Heavy_Plasma

The Blaster Launcher was fun too, especially when it glitched and killed your whole squad!

With all of the cool, creative video game weapons out there I can't believe that someone would pick a real world, standard round shooting gun in this thread. Some of you guys have to branch out from Call of Duty. Zzzzzzz..

I like a Tippman 98. Sure, there's much better ones out there nowadays, but it's a classic and will get the job done in the right hands.
