If you're ever in Okotoks hit up RedRock pizza. Same great pizza as the Canmore location.

i would say bowtie pizza is much better at a similar price point.

Bravo is definitely over priced for what you get. And they put way, way too much sauce on their pizzas. They have some decent specials though. Can get a pepperoni 14” for less than $20.
I actually had pizza at Joyce in 4th the other day and for a pub I found it quite tasty. Greek style, lots of cheese, lots of toppings, crunchy crust outside but fluffy inside.
I’ve also had pizza at blowers and grafton. It’s not bad. Pizza sauce is the weak spot. It tastes like store bought ragu (and that’s generous).
Mercato pizza is definitely overpriced, just like the restaurant.
Haven’t tried famoso yet.

is Pizza Mercato in Mission even affiliated with Mercato itself? the two are right beside each other but that pizza doesn't resemble the Pizzevino at Mercato West so I'm super confused.

ASAP - what’s the closest thing to Crispy Crust but city centre/Deerfoot type area? Mad craving but damn that’s far.

4th Street Pizza in Mission is still the best. Delicious and not pricey at all.

I had the 4th Street Pizza located on Edmonton Trail and it was nasty. Soggy bottom, weird cheese with no browning etc.

I know we don't speak of chain pizza here, but Papa John's NY Style is good in a pinch.

Anyone tried Royal Pizza on McLeod Trail? I know nothing except that I saw a flyer for it where it was "The best pizza in Edmonton" or something to that effect. Now they're here.

Don’t know if it’s the same as one in the NW? Good but pricey.

The Royal Pizza in Sage Hill is my go-to. One of my favorite pizzas is a nacho pizza (ground beef, black olive, tomato), and it's easy to tell a cheap pizza place from a good one depending on what kind of ground beef they use. Cheap places use those frozen beef pellets that taste like rubber, good places fry up their own beef. Royal is the latter, and their ratio of toppings/cheese/crust is perfect IMO

Pizza culture is becoming a regular in the rotation. They haven't missed yet.

Wife and I were both lazy this weekend. And apparently cheap.
Ordered Pizza 73 on Friday and Dominos on Sunday.
We are the worst.

I order the handmade pan pizza from Dominos fairly often for the kids. The trick is to get it cooked "well done" and it comes out pretty good for a cheap chain pizza.
Also, when I do order it, it's almost always Monday (today if you are reading when I post). 50% off pizzas with this codes - MON50P

I find that Nina's at 130th has better cheap pizza options than Dominos

So we're looking for a replacement for POW pizza. Apparently being anti-vax was tolerable but we draw the line at death threats.
Are there any other Detroit style pizzas in Calgary?
We've tried Connie and John's but didn't like it as much as POW.

Im sure there are fans, but Connie and John’s was incredibly disappointing for me. Salty, greasy, floppy, uncut.
