Who is Your Favourite Flame on the Current Roster?
It is a couple weeks left until the start of a new season. We might as well get excited for hockey to return by debating who your favourite Flame is.
Mine without a doubt is Sean Monahan. The guy is a stud. He scores clutch goals and he works hard. I've enjoyed following his career with the Flames, and I like that he is signed long term.

i'll be doing up a jersey with a tkachuk kit before the start of the season
the kid plays with so much heart, scores, hits and absolutely infuriates the opposition! LOVE IT!!!!
and he is soooooooooo loathed by the opposition... players and fans alike (especially canuck and oiler fans!)

Ever since he entered the league I was more excited when Monahan scored than anyone else. Like I used to be for Iggy. I can’t explain it, but it’s Monahan for me.

Probably TJ Brodie. I honestly feel the Flames go as Brodie goes and when Brodie's going this team is a blast to watch.

Mikael Backlund - extremely underrated (outside Calgary), 2-way player, not flashy but is obviously skilled, but most of all - he HATES the Canucks.

Tie between Mark Giordano and Matthew Tkachuk.
I appreciate Gio's steadiness and leadership. What a player to be wearing a second C on their jersey. Plus I love his story and how he got this far, and this good.
Tkachuk is the anti-hero we need and deserve. From everything I have seen, heard, and read it's clear his personality and love of the game matches his compete and skill. Lives the game, always wants to learn, and leaves it all on the ice every game. If he wasn't on the Flames I would hate him with a passion that burns like the heat of a thousand suns.
