Any comments on Wear OS vs Tizen? I seriously want to buy the Galaxy Smart watch - many reviews have it as the best smart watch on Android right now hands down but I have two reservations on the Galaxy:
-Bixby instead of Google Assistant
-No Google Maps

Don't know much about the differences in the OS but if you want to stay Wear OS check out the Tikwatch Pro, gets great reviews and a little cheaper than the Gear line.

I have a Galaxy smartwatch and love it. Battery lasts about 4 days, the screen is great, and it does everything I need it to. I don't use maps or assistant on it, however, as I found it annoying. I just use my phone for those sorts of things as it is much better suited for it.
My primary uses are: Notifications (SMS, Slack, Facebook), meeting reminders, fitness stuff and home automation. I also change the face every week or so as I get bored.

Does anyone here have any experience with the Huawei P20 or P20 Pro? Looking for some first-hand info for helping a family member make a decision on a new phone. Too many of the reviews on the internet are done with only a few days of time spent on the phone, but I want to know if there's any kind of longevity with Huwaei's phones and OS.
For reference, they've been using a Galaxy S4 up to this point, and they're hoping to get 4 years out of their next phone.
I picked up a Pixel 3 at Costco today. It was going to cost me $500 to keep my current plan if I got it directly through Bell, but I got $400 in Costco gift cards so it only cost me $100.
I'll definitely be going there to get on-contract phones from now on.
Do you guys experience touch issues on your PH-1? Love this phone but a few times a week I just get dead spots on the phone, usually in the bottom right corner where screen touches just don't work. Can drive me nuts.
I am ditching it anyways but I might try a RMA and see if essential will replace it.
