I’ve had a hunch for awhile that McDavid will end up in Detroit and kick butt there. I was thinking: Yzerman GM, rebuild being done “right”, cap space and one of the only East teams without a mega star at the moment. I’m no expert, just thought I’d share...especially in case it somehow magically happens.

Can you imagine the conspiracy theories from Edmonton if Holland ends up trading McDavid to Detroit? It would be amazing.

It’s so funny and obvious that Sportsnet has a bias towards the Oilers. Everyday I check the website for news and there’s always some new article about the Oilers. Is it like 2 weeks now since they’ve been eliminated?

Really? I think that's just a Flames obsession. Those two have the collective charisma of grass.
I think there are just a lot of Oiler fans working at Sportsnet. Lots of people in their 30's and 40's were hooked on hockey during the Oilers dynasty years and hopped on the bandwagon and never left.

Almost hit page two, and regardless of how disappointed I am in hockey right now this thread always deserves page one presence so I'll post this link. Apparently, PullYourRV is close to signing with Edmonton according to Mark Spector.
