^ for sure it should've been, but suddenly they switch off and its 1-1.

(and I don't know who the colour guy is on the broadcast, but he's annoying)

That was a disaster. Gotta be careful not to fall apart now after so much good work.

Yeah that sucked. I got Sportsnet World so that I could catch all the Chelsea matches along with TSN and regular SN... and then this one is on some obscure channel and I had to settle for highlights.

Pissed.

If only Willian could have buried one of those chances in the first half. Looks like he had a great game from the quick highlights I saw.

He really was everywhere and looked really good. Those two shots off the posts in the first half were really good, and he did deserve to score.

If you subscribed to DAZN for Sunday Ticket they also have the Champions League games that are on BEIN, like the one today. I think BEIN will have at least one of the ties until the SFs.

Watching Munich yesterday I checked the standings for the German table and I just scoffed. What's the point of even caring if you're a fan of German Football, and don't support Munich? Seems completely predetermined that Munich will win the German table 20 of the next 22 years.

This isn't like the 60s or 70s where maybe another team can come up. Bayerns money and infrastructure is such that they'll never be challenged financially ever. How boring. Same with France, Spain. At least England I guess have 5 or 6 teams who trade the trophy around.

Only Italy has an actual competitive race this year, although maybe that's underselling Atletico a bit. Super league does seem inevitable, so they should probably just get on with it.

Aren't you supporting City though? I mean really...they're just trying to buy the same setup, as long as it's allowed.

Its cyclical.

You could say the same thing about the Italian league as Juve have won it for something like the last 6 years straight largely because of the circus that became of AC and Inter.

Spain flip-flop between Barca and Real and really only emerged from 'joke' status when Atletico could compete.

Germany is similar, they had a running battle between Bayern and Dortmund until Dortmund imploded and even last year had a decent title race between Bayern and Leipzig.

But thats because those big clubs have the resources to purchase new players and pay the players they have and cycle teams.

Pogba looks to be on the bench tonight in Seville. This is eyebrow raising to me.

Especially as theres been a bunch or articles saying hes unhappy either at United or with Mourinho or both.

Kind of throws a little fuel on that fire.

There have been a number of reports recently that he and Mourinho aren't getting along. I guess I would take him at Spurs as he would be a reasonable understudy to Dembele!

Theory: Mourinho is trying to get himself sacked after securing his extension. Take United to the cleaners before getting the PSG money.

An interesting conspiracy theory. My question is, if Mourinho were to pull something like that off, once he started getting paid by PSG wouldnt his contract be void and thus the payments from United then be off?

There might be clauses that ensure if he goes elsewhere he stops getting paid by United. But Raiola is sharp, I doubt he'd let Mourinho sign something like that. Either way I can't imagine United fans will shed any tears if Mourinho does go. To spend as much as they have and to be borderline unwatchable is very sad. Basically the Van Gaal era with more money spent. They'd be so screwed without De Gea.

Jorge Mendes represents Mourinho.

I just think Mourinho is going the way of Mike Keenan. Coaches don't last forever.
