Sorry, not a super detailed thread today, got busy at work this morning and didn’t have as much time as I wanted, but I think I’ve got all the Canadian content for tonight.

At 15:30 the Women’s 10km Swimming Marathon begins. Kate Sanderson is the Canadian competitor.

Round 1 of the Women’s Golf Tournament begins at 16:30. Alena Sharp tees off at 16:41, Brooke Henderson will tee off at 17:25.

Decathlon begins at 18:00 with the 100m, Damian Warner and Pierce LePage are the Canadians in this event. The Long Jump starts at 18:55. Shotput starts at 20:40.

The Men’s K1 200m Heats start at 18:30. Nicholas Matveev is in Heat 2, Mark de Jonge is in Heat 3. The Quarterfinals will start at 21:08.

Women’s Heptathlon starts at 18:35 with the 100m Hurdles. Georgie Ellenwood is the Canadian competing in this event. High Jump starts at 19:35.

At 19:05 Heats in the Women’s C1 200m begin. Katie Vincent is in Heat 2, Laurence Vincent-LaPointe is in Heat 4. The Quarterfinals will start at 21:29.

Women’s K1 500m Heats begin at 19:40. Michelle Russell is the Canadian in Heat 4. The Quarterfinals will start at 21:50.

The Semifinal in Men’s 110m Hurdles is at 20:00. The Final in Women’s 400m Hurdles starts at 20:30.

At 20:22 Heats in the Men’s K2 1000m begin. Brian Malfesi and Vincent Jourdenais are in Heat 1. The Quarterfinals will start at 22:18.

At 00:00 Preliminary Round of Women’s 10m Platform Diving starts. Meaghan Benfeito and Celina Toth dive for Canada.

Qualification for the Men’s Cycling Track Sprint begins at 00:30. The 1/32 Final is at 01:35. Repechage Round 1 is at 02:31. 1/16 Final is at 03:13.

At 01:10 the First Round in Women’s Keirin Track Cycling begins. Kelsey Mitchell is in Heat 3, Lauriane Genest is in Heat 5. The Repechage Round begins at 02:11.

Combined Women’s Sport Climbing begins at 02:00 with the Speed event. Alannah Yip is the Canadian competitor. Bouldering begins at 03:00. Lead section begins at 06:00.

At 02:45 the Finals in Men’s Cycling Team Pursuit begin. Canada faces Germany in the 5-6 Final.

Decathlon begins again at 03:30 with the High Jump. The 400m begins at 06:30.

At 04:00 the Women’s 1500m Semifinal begins. Gabriela DeBues-Stafford is in the first race, her sister Lucia Stafford is in the second race.

Heptathlon starts again at 04:05 with shotput. The 200m begins at 05:30.

The Final of the Women’s Artistic Swimming starts at 04:30.

Also at 04:30 the Semifinals of the Women’s 400m begin. Kyra Constantine is in the 3rd race.

At 05:00 the Final of the Women’s 3000m Steeplechase begins. Genevieve Lalonde runs for Canada.

The Final of the Men’s 800m starts at 06:05.

At 06:55 Aaron Brown is in Lane 4 and Andre de Grasse is in Lane 6 of the Men’s 200m Final.

thanks as always- clearly tomorrow morning 655 is the big one for CANCON but (in addition to the multisport starting which is fun) folks are likely going to want to check out that womens' 400 m H finals at 830 tonight. Not sure anything will replicate what the men did last night but...

Yeah he's a dork and not really a contender. Holloway in the 3rd heat won easily and congratulated those around him.

Was at the Cavalry game and just saw the decathlon standings, great stuff!

The reason the soccer game is early is because it is in the Olympic Stadium. No track day session on Friday. If they move the game time they will have to move venues. Maybe to Yokohama.

The men's final is Saturday 8:30pm japan time in Yokohama.
