Not a big fan at this point, but I assume it is a pretty rough first draft. Looks like a giant wall without much interesting detail.

Why not call it The New Flames Arena vs Event Center?

First impression is that it looks like the library but it's probably going to be nice inside.

I want more angles. I'm not even sure which view this is. I assume it's the corner of 4th St and 14th Ave (SW corner of the building), but that's just a guess based on the lack of traffic lights.

Nothing awe-inspiring, but nothing awful either. It feels more inviting than Rogers Place, but I don't remember what the initial renderings there looked like.

Can we call it a Pavilion? Or does SJ have that locked down?

I remember when the SkyDome was considered sleek, bold and futuristic and ahead of its time.

Futuristic doesn't age well, this is still sleek, simple, and doesn't look like a white elephant 10 years from now.

It looks understated and modern to me, based on this. I think it ages very well, and it fits pretty seamlessly into the existing architectural plan for the East Village. That is a good thing.

Love the "Corral" suggestion.

I don't care how it looks outside, as long as the facilities inside attract players and facilitate them being the best they can be, that's all that matters.

Based on the renderings, I find it hard to understand how people can have either a very positive or very negative opinion... unless you were really hoping for a cowboy hat, and you didn't get it... or you were expecting a cowboy hat, and relieved it isn't? This is just an initial rough look.

Should have spent an extra 5 mins, however, and rendered some children. Why doesn't anyone ever think of the children?
