I don't know if Louis will re-rate high enough to be a back-up but with that salary he can be released. When I dealt him I had Hart, but needed a cheap backup.

After I waived him, I realized I should have tried to trade him first. I moved a few prospects for him and then lose him for nothing...not the smartest on my side, but clear some space for re-signings due to Laughton and Eriksson Ek requiring more cap than anticipated.

48 hours, but during the offseason, they get to it when they do. Regardless it's still only 48 hours, processed or not
