Like new after his surgeries!

Get some picks and flip em for Eichel. Boom.
Isn't he UFA? On the old side but hellava player still. Would love to see him in a Flames uniform if he's like a Jagr where he can still play until mid-40's.

That was more in response to Bruins being in on Eichel

They would've signed him before they went shopping if he was intending to come back. He was a priority for the team, as they stated it repeatedly in the weeks before today. Don't get it twisted, he left because he wanted to go home. Not because the team didn't want him back, or that they didn't have space. He alluded to his recently expired NHL deal as probably being his last before he headed back to Czech when he signed it, and has hinted at it more than a few times in the years since.

In terms of flexibility in the unlikely event he changes his mind, they could dump DeBrusk for picks, LTIR John Moore or simply have signed Krejci to a base+bonuses contract, which they currently actually still have the space to do. Not to mention that there was an offer on the table. He decided to go home. All the respect in the world for his decision. Was a real nutshot for me.

Probably only Malkin.

Is Evgeny Malkin a #2 centre?

Or Stamkos, or maybe Tavares.

My comment really related to someone suggesting that Boston should now go after Monahan with the cap space delegated for krejci . I simply meant there was no cap space left, I wasn’t suggesting that Boston did not want Krejci
