After a months long exhaustive search, I think I've finally found the unit I want to rent. Pray for me CP. If this one slips away, I'll be devastated.

Seems that the wife is finally bending on acquiring a pet. It's not really a Covid thing, I've been bugging for years. She's never had a real pet (fish don't count, neither do plants) whereas I was brought up with several fun furry four-legged felines (and a doggo earlier on).

The tool I bought at Lee Valley had it's price reduced after I bought it and they sent me a cheque for the difference out of the blue.

One of my customers gave me a gift card as a token of thanks out of the blue today. That was really appreciated.

A buddy in Newfoundland just sent me a box full of cool random stuff. Including something which will be perfect for any upcoming stop-motion hockey adventures.

After 8 days in the hospital and all the testing she was able to come this afternoon.

Cardiologists found the right combination of pills to slow her heart rate to norman and to remove the fluid from her lungs. All the hospital staff wanted to adopt her for thier mother

On the highway home she said I had to cook her up some real food as the hospital food was awful. Steak and baked potato with a side mushrooms and onions sauted in some teryaki sauce??? Lets just say she was already salivating at the prospect of a home cooked meal.

I'll be going back to work part-time! Just two nights a week sessionally, but it's a start

It will be 3.5 years after an accident in spring 2018 resulted in a TBI, and the beginning of a host of nerve problems. Time does NOT fly by when you aren't having fun, let me tell you--some days it seems like been a decade has gone by, freckled with disjointed memories like trying to remember a summer vacation your family took in 1991. It's actually pretty hard to describe the last few years

There's just something profoundly saddening about watching the world go by while you're stalled on the side of the road, to the left of you is a rocky cliff that plummets into nowhere, and to the right traffic is hurtling by 120km/hr

it's exiting to get rolling again

I’m camping at the moment, there is a kid here who has been bullying all the younger kids at the playground. I just watched him wipe out on his bike.

My neighbours across the street just bought a vintage VW Beetle which they park on the street in the perfect spot for me to view from my desk.

Every time I look up from my laptop it makes me smile, and it's not even my car

this made me laugh earlier...
i'm not a fan of my phone - it's an older iphone and was free from a friend - so beggars can't be choosers right?!? i've never liked apple products... ever - and that goes back to the 80s and 90s.

i guess it 'learns' as i type texts and suggests words. if i type in "stupid" it suggests 3 things for my next word... 'phone' 'oilers' 'autocorrect' - ha! ha! it makes me happy that my opinion of certain things is obviously very consistent!
